Norman-Based Metro Mosquito Control. It’s All We Do.
Mosquito Authority of Greater Oklahoma City, OK does one thing: mosquito and tick control. Not as a seasonal add-on to a broader pest menu, but as the entire operation. That focus means every licensed technician, every product choice, and every visit is built around eradicating the flying, biting, and disease-carrying pests that cut short your time outdoors. Every program is backed by a No Mosquitoes Guaranteed promise.
Ready to reclaim your yard? Call us at (405) 645-5464 for a free, no-obligation quote and upfront pricing before any treatment begins.
A Consistent Four-Step Process on Every Visit
Each service call follows the same four-step structure: identify the problem, inspect the property, treat the property, and return on a 21-day cycle. That cycle matters because mosquitoes don’t stop breeding between visits. Coming back before the next generation reaches peak activity helps keep pressure on the population all season long.
Barrier treatments do more than target mosquitoes. The same application suppresses ticks and flies, so one seasonal program covers the full range of biting pests in your yard. Service options include recurring seasonal treatments, eco-friendly organic methods, automated misting systems, large-acreage defense, and one-time event spraying for parties, weddings, or any outdoor occasion where guests need real relief.
Products are hand-mixed and hand-directed at every visit to minimize contact with flowering plants and reduce impact on pollinators such as honeybees and butterflies. All treatments use EPA-registered products and are applied according to label directions.
Communities Served Across the Oklahoma City Metro
Norman is our primary service area, but Mosquito Authority of Greater Oklahoma City, OK covers the broader metro. If you’re in any of the communities below, the same licensed technicians and 21-day treatment cycle apply to your yard.

Not sure whether your address falls within the service area? Call (405) 645-5464 and we can confirm coverage before you commit to anything.
We provide a no-obligation estimate. After your technician arrives, they will outline the scope of work, price and approach to be used. This way, you never have to worry about surprise charges or hidden fees.
Rooted in Science
Our service is a combination of treatments that break the mosquito's life cycle to prevent breeding habitats and larvae growth. Then, every 21 days we return to repeat the process.
Peace of Mind
With Mosquito Authority, finding a highly trained mosquito professional is quick and easy. Our service guarantee, gives you the peace of mind that should the mosquitoes return, we can be responsive.
What You Can Expect
Our Four-Step Process Is Designed to Give You the Peace of Mind You Need
Whether it is a one-time treatment or season-long service for maximum protection, we offer custom programs designed for your unique requirements. Our licensed professionals will outline your needs and discuss the best course of action for your family, pets and guests.
Norman sits within the Cross Timbers ecoregion, a mosaic of prairie and oak woodland that gives mosquitoes dense vegetation for daytime resting. Add proximity to Lake Thunderbird, the Canadian River, and the city’s extensive parkland, and there’s no shortage of standing and slow-moving water to support breeding through the season.
The humid subtropical climate extends the problem further. Central Oklahoma receives roughly 38 inches of rain annually, concentrated in spring and early summer, with hot summers and mild autumns that keep conditions favorable well into fall. The season can open as early as March, when sustained overnight temperatures consistently clear 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Species & Disease Risk Worth Knowing
Oklahoma hosts more than 60 mosquito species. Culex mosquitoes, which peak in late summer, carry the highest disease transmission risk in the region, including West Nile virus. Public health programs coordinate surveillance across Cleveland County and the broader metro, but yard-level treatment addresses what those programs can’t reach.
Breeding sources are often closer than homeowners expect. A single container of standing water can support hundreds of larvae within days of a rain event. Gutters, birdbaths, low spots in the lawn, and ornamental ponds are among the most common culprits across the communities we serve.
Call (405) 645-5464 to schedule your free quote. Mosquito Authority of Greater Oklahoma City, OK serves Norman, Oklahoma City, Edmond, Moore, Guthrie, OK, Newcastle, OK, and Logan County with the same licensed technicians and consistent service.
What to Expect When You Schedule Service
DIY sprays and citronella candles can knock back adult mosquitoes temporarily, but they don’t touch the underlying breeding cycle. When that cycle continues, a new generation can emerge within days, and the relief is short-lived. A recurring 21-day treatment program addresses the cycle repeatedly across the season rather than reacting after populations have already rebounded.
You don’t need to be home for your technician to treat the property. Our team can complete the visit on schedule and let you know when it’s done, making it easy to stay on a consistent cycle without rearranging your day.

Their service just WORKS
We have used Mosquito Authority for YEARS. We literally could not even step outside without being accosted by swarms of mosquitoes when we moved here. One or two applications by Mosquito Authority wiped that issue right out.
We are more than happy to continue our service every year, because their service just WORKS. That’s all I need, and all I ask for!

They Have Been AMAZING!
We just started using Mosquito Authority and they have been AMAZING! I'm telling all my friends about them. I have called all over town and they have the best price by far. They guarantee their services to last 21 days, and if it doesn't, you just shoot them a text and they'll be right out to spray again at no charge. Another thing I really appreciate is that they don't lock you into a contract. You can cancel their services any time. Julian is our technician and he is awesome. He communicated proficiently and gets the job done quickly and effectively. Can't recommend this company enough.
